Tranquil Tulip Bouquet

When I saw this I just had to have a go. Not sure mine is as good as the original. I love this ladies work, she is quite ingenious I just wish my French was good enough to understand it all.
Found here.  Please check out her page and look at some of her other makes.

This is my attempt, it did take me all day but I just wanted it right, the hardest part was the paper wrapping the bouquet!

I missed so many birthdays last month I feel this would be a lovely card to send to some of my friends to say sorry!

Some of the tulips are stamped in the usual 2 step stamping way, and a couple at the front are 2 step stamped then the front layer has been stamped again separately and added with dimensionals. Just to give a bit more substance to the flower. Then everything is fussy cut! Such a calming thing to spend your time doing.

The bow is a bit of seam binding out of my stash.

Remember this Tranquil Tulip stamp set is only available to hostesses.

To be a hostess without holding a party  -  Join my  product share for the 'In Colours'.

The ‘5' In colours’ for 2017 - 2019 are delicious. Every one is raving about them and they are so on trend. To buy the ink pads, re inkers, marker pens, ribbon, designer paper pad and A4 card can seem a bit daunting all at once.

I have 3 places left for customers to sign up for this now, then over the next 5 months, each person, each month will receive one colour of

an ink pad

a marker  pen

a bottle of re-inker,

a full reel of ribbon,

8 double sided sheets of patterned papers for that colour

a pack of A 4 card

4 bows

At the end of the 5 months you would have everything for all of the in colours.

This would work out at £30 per month. (for each of the 5 months)

The bonus doing it this way means that in one of the months you will be hostess so you will be able to purchase this beautiful stamp set....if you want to. When it is your month or on other months you would of course be able to order other items if you choose to.

This product share is only available until the end of June. The sooner you sign up though the sooner you can get these goodies.

Colour challenge wk 2

Its the second week of the Jems colour challenge. The colours are Pear Pizzaz, Cherry Cobbler, Blushing Bride, and the new in colour Fresh Fig. Today I have created 2 cards with the same stamp set - delightful Daisy but switched the colours around.

Ooops this one looks a bit off kilter! The two cards both use the same colours but tonal are very different. It does have something to do with the matt layers too but even when just looking at the very vanilla the stamped image is on they have a different feel.

This one to me is softer and warmer.

Whereas this one feels fresh and light.

I am taking bookings for parties on Thursday evenings this month.  Not sure what a party is all about, don't feel that you want that in your home, no problem, get in contact with me here. I can run parties in my craft studio and I offer lots of help and support to my hostesses to ensure their parties are a success.  June is bonus month too when you have a party - extra hostess spends.

Flamingo gift bag

I had made that lovely card with the Flamingo stamp but not done anything else with it. So I had a look at what else I could do with it.

Today I have a little gift bag made using the gift bag punch board. The bag is made from one of the sheets of the Delightful Daisy  designer papers. The swirly pattern made me think of what happens when you put your feet into water, the water sorts of swirls.. The flamingo is stamped then fussy cut. I have added it to a tag then clipped the tag to the bag with a little gold peg.  I have used a bit of seam binding from my stash.

I can't wait to fill this with chocolates for my friend.

Next week I have another make with this stamp set a bit different from the norm, keep checking back.

Tabs for Everything

This stamp set is on pg 43 of the catalogue. When I went to Amsterdam to the Stampin'Uo On stage Live conference for Stampin'Up demonstrators, this is one of the sets we were given for free. Its not one I would have chosen and I was a bit puzzled as to how I would use it. HOWEVER.........

It does have a punch to match which will be available to order at the end of the month.

I have used the set twice. Todays make was inspired by a fellow demonstrator Alex Spence here although sadly she hasn't added her card to her blog. I call it a bit of modern art.... For my make I have used the colours of my craft studio - The Den - they are Rich Razzleberry, Melon Mambo and Wisteria Wonder. The stamp set is full of little words so on the solid circles I have used, date, note and goal. All terms we use often. As so often the case, the more I use this set the more I like it!

Below are 2 of the pictures from the catalogue. The first one shows you the punch. Great for adding tags to a notebook. The second picture shows it used to make tags.

Bike Ride

As we were in Amsterdam you would expect something with bicycles to be on trend and this set was also given out at conference. It does have a set of dies that match but I haven't ordered those    Yet!

Because the stamps are photopolymer there are easy to see through and so stamp a good image. Infact I think the images are really easy to stamp. I have used 5 different stamps for the image of the bike. I could have used 2 more to add colour to the bike saddle and hand grips but decided to leave them white.   It is a large set of stamps, 24 in total, all images, no sentiments. Tomorrow I have 3 very quick little 'thank you' cards with this set

The words are all from that Tabs stamp set I showcased last Saturday.
