Boys will be Boys

Day two of sneak peeks                                                                                                                     ...                                                                                                               ...                                                                                           This stamp set has continued in the new catalogue. Its a really useful set for all those little boys you need to make cards for. This card is based on the one in the catalogue. The base card uses the new in colour cucumber crush, a lovely bright green. The blue arrows are the pieces of waste from the chevron punch. You could make a whole set of these in this layout using each of the stamps in the set.                                           P. S. There is a lovely lego brick stamp in the set.

Flower Patch Stamps and Dies + Tri Fold Card

I love this card structure, its a special from Amanda at http://thecraftspa.blogspot.co.uk she makes some really lovely stuff and her blog is well worth a visit.

I have only completed one in this style before although I have a few ready to decorate. This is my first make in this style.....

Today I have used the flower patch stamp set that have also  only had one outing before. This is it:-

So today, I have used the top card format and the lower card stamp set. I have limited the colour scheme to make something simpler but equally as stunning. Well thats my opinion!

 What do you think?

Male Card 5 Adventure Bound

The stamp set used for this card is the one that has been in the catalogue the longest and I believe that the majority of demonstrators have this and obviously lots of their customers. I bought this last month and this is its first outing. I can see lots of makes for that special day in December that I will not mention in May!

Again I have used another piece of the Adventure Bound paper stack. The designs are just stunning. As soon as I saw this one I knew it would work with 'Lovely as a Tree' stamp set.

I have added a small piece of linen thread wrapped three times and tied around the join between the paper and the stamped image. As a natural thread I thought it went well here.
The sentiment is from the 'Crazy for You' set which is in the spring summer catalogue. There is a very large range of stamps in the set - 33stamps.  30 of them are sentiments then there are 2 flowers and one leaf. A really good value for money stamp set. It is also part of a bundle with the 'hello you' thinlits dies. On the inside of the card I have added 'hello'.

Male Card 4 Adventure Bound

I enjoyed this card the fourth of the set of five. My husband is a big cricket fan in  fact we have just booked tickets for a day at Headingley. However I got into trouble the first time I made this as I hadn't got the cricket ball right so I had to go and remake it!

I love the paper it just reminded me of the cricket jumpers my mum knitted for my boys when they were young. Each one had a different stripe of colour around the neck so that we knew whose was whose.

The letters for 'DAD' are made with the clay and the letter mould in the spring summer catalogue.  They are really easy to make and drying the clay in the mould on top of a radiator for an hour means that they turn out easily.
The ribbon around the v neck are the White Jute Ribbon and the green id the 'Old Olive' Taffeta ribbon

This is the ball I made first time around hubby was not very pleased!!!
