In colour week - Blueberry Bushel

I have saved this one until last as its my favourite of the 'In Colours' plus I had a little play with a very old technique and this colour worked the best with it.

In this flat lay picture I have put the card between the Night of Navy on the dark side and Pacific Point for the lighter shade. The pacific point is actually much brighter than it shows up in the picture, I did take 1/2 a dozen shots but couldn't gt it to show any brighter.... possibly the lights in the studio!

I have used the aqua painter and some ink in the lid of the ink pad to colour this. I have stamped on the standard whisper white card and just been careful not to add too much water. No crinkles here!!!

Then .... a long time ago I had seen a technique using bleach. Stampin'Up card has the colour going all the way through it not just coated on the surface like some other card. The bleach will sometimes do something a bit magic where it exposes colours used to make the card pigment. For the Blueberry Bushel it works a treat. giving a turquoise that is almost florescent.

I think it looks great. What do you think?
