After closing the studio, moving house again, and becoming grandparents for the first time it has been a very busy 6 months. We actually get the keys for OUR house a week on Friday and we become grandparents for the second time later in the year. So I don't think life is going to get less busy!
Having moved to a new area of the country and knowing no one at all, it's time for me to get back to crafting and meeting crafty people. Its wonderful to just loose a few hours playing with ink, rubber stamps and card with a bit of beautiful designer paper thrown in. The creative mojo is a bit hit and miss still but it will get going as I find more time and space to create.
So where are we. At the moment we are renting in Shipston on Stour. A beautiful small market town in the north of the cotswolds. 8 miles south of Stratford upon Avon. Beautiful rolling countryside, wide open skies and very rural. Even though we lived on the edge of Halifax it was more moorland than rural around us. This is agricultural rural. We have done quite a bit of 'guess the plant type'.... its easy now the oil seed rape is in flower - bright yellow, you can't miss that but the other stuff we are not sure! Where we are moving to is a small village with a shop, a post office, a pub and a church so all the essentials. But more on that later.
Today I want to share some pictures of my beautiful grandson Jasper.
To say we are besotted is an understatement. Born 2 weeks early weighing 6lb 10 oz. I must admit I was quite nervous of holding him at first but now it just takes me back...... so many years. This is the day he was born
And here he is 4 weeks old
And now at 21/2 months old with his wonderful Mummy.
The light in the second pic is not good but hes starting to smile - got to love him.
