The card I shared last Thursday that we made a training used the same paper stack as this card. It is the It's your Birthday' pack. This is a large but very versatile packet of paper, this is due in part to the colour range used.
For the background to the aeroplane a water colour wash in pool party was made with the aquapainter. I have used watercolour paper but you don't need to. I have then stamped the clouds whilst the paper was wet so that their edges ed have spread.
The aeroplane has been stamped on whisper white then fussy cut. the little strip of glimmer paper just finishes the design balance.
