Merry Medley

Last Wednesday was our launch night in the Den for the Stampin'Up seasonal catalogue. We had a great evening and today I have one of the cards we did as our make and take.

We used the Merry Medley stamp, its a single stamp and very big!

We stamped on whisper white with 'versamark' then heat embossed with clear powder. The colour is added by daubing with a sponge, this gives you the opportunity to create a varied colour strength across the piece. Add more colour to some parts and not others. Once you have as much colour as you want you wipe the whole face with a clean soft cloth to remove the ink from the letters. Its a great technique to use as it has that wow factor.

The card is then finished with a length of gold twine, a fussy cut holly branch and a couple of labels, one in real red the other in gold foil.

Pop back tomorrow to see our other make from the party.
