To start with here he is with eggs
So for the stamping, I have used the Sheltering tree. I love this set I did quite a lot with it when it was first in the catalogue, but it hasn't seen light of day very much since. I knew it would work for this.
The mistake:- originally I painted the wood then daubed and stamped but because the surface wasn't as smooth as our SU card and the paint darkened the colours the whole thing was very flat and dull.
The actual how:- so I drew around the rabbit on whister white card then daubed and stamped that. Starting with the ears and tempting turquoise which was the colour of the sky last saturday I then stamped the birds from 'High Tide'
Next the trees, soft suede for the trunk and branches the melon mambo for the blossom, also from the sheltering tree stamp set I have used the grass stamp, lots and lots and lots to cover the area with grass, this is stamped with old olive then daubed over with pear pizzaz. The bike is stamped with memento and the frame in the tempting turquoise, the swing is stamped in early expresso.
In the bottom corner I have stamped the flowers from the 'In the meadow" set. For these I have coloured the stamp with the marker pens, always artichoke for the leaves and tempting turquoise for the flowers.
Finishing off. I stuck the stamped card to the wooden rabbit the used emery boards to the edge for a clean close finish. The base plate has been daubed with a sponge with pear pizzaz.
A really easy make but doesn't it make a statement.
