Sea views

Another Tuesday class yesterday using embossing folders. This card does use a number of techniques, all of which we have created with in the past on a tuesday.

I called her the classy lady, she certainly looks more classy than I did when I went to the coast last Saturday, I was wearing shorts and a tee shirt, it was lovely and warm.. Although cooler today its still fine.

The classy lady is from the 'Beautiful You' stamp set, although in the set this stamp has no legs!!! We couldn't do that so the legs are from one of the other ladies in the set. For the background we inked one of the larger clear blocks with soft sky and bermuda bay then spritzed the ink. You then place the block ink side down on the the card, you can watch the card suck up the ink! The block then lifts away clean. The birds are from the 'High Tide' stamp set, coloured with the basic grey marker pen, the pattern to create the sea is from the Flirty Flamingo but you could use the one from High Tide, and the brick wall embossing folder, gives the classy lady something to lean on. Hope this one feels summery to you.
