Stampin'Up English Garden Designer Series Paper Card Makes

A bit of a change this week. Each Day will feature 2 cards made with each side of one sheet of the English Garden Designer Series Paper. So 12 cards in total! How many packs of DSP have you got on the shelf? If like me you tend to hoard and never open then this is for you. Take half a pack of DSP examine the patterns and colours. Some shout at you about how to use, others need further work. This English Garden Paper set from Stampin'Up has some really pretty flowery designs but also in matching colours some obvious background papers. Many of the less floral designs are good for male cards.

Designer Series Paper Sheet One.

These two very different cards are made with one sheet of paper. They are all double sided and due to the wonderful quality the designs do not come through on the opposite side.

Card 1

This first card is very simple and easy. Its also very pink but then everyone knows someone who loves pink......... don't they?

The sentiment is fresh and clear from the 'Perfect Pennants' set. The two layers are punched with the new triple banner punch. This ensures you get matching points.

Card 2

The second card uses the opposite side of the pink stripe sheet. So pretty, very English garden! Reminds me of a nursery rhyme but I can't think which one.

In detail, the butterfly is die cut using the butterfly framelits, then rhinestones added. The ribbon is Wild Wasabi seam binding.

The card base is Melon Mambo with Mossy meadow layered under the paper.
The sentiment is punched out with the window punch. I have also punched a word window in the mossy meadow, which I have cut in half and mounted underneath each end.
