I think you have probably noticed I LOVE the Grateful Bunch bundle. After all the pink for Valentines and Mothers Day I needed a bit of blue. Tempting Turquoise is a lovely summer blue.
These 5 little cards use the Stampin'Up note cards. They are such lovely quality but smaller than the standard C6, so miniature works of art.
The first card is a 'crumb cake' note cards with a 'very vanilla' layer. The lovely daisy flowers are stamped the punched which makes life really easy. Stamped in tempting turquoise on tempting turquoise then a little chalk pen added. And of course a little daubing around the edges of the matt.. Doesn't the curvy corner trio punch make the corners look pretty.
The second card is a 'whisper white' notecard. The layer is also white stamped with the butterfly. I have drawn the edge of the layer across the ink pad to give a turquoise edge so that it stands up from the base card. A fussy cut butterfly with pearls for the body has been added and I have drawn the feelers free hand. A little soft sky seam binging for the bow is a finishing touch.
On the third card I have used the lace stamp. The detail on this is amazing. A double layer piece with the sentiment and butterflies in 3 similar shades of blue. I think this is the best of the five cards, Which is your favourite?
Card number 3 is another 'crumb cake' notecard but with the contrasting 'whisper white' panel mounted on the 'turquoise' it looks very clean and crisp. The lace is stamped in crumb cake and layered over the jute ribbon. On this card the daises are stamped in momento ink.
For this card I have stamped and fussy cut the large daisy. the smaller daisies are stamped in the background. The ribbon is soft sky seam binding.
Karen these are just beautiful. I may have to CASE! Julie x
