Beginners workshop:- the aqua painter

Sorry about no post yesterday, my iPad that I take the pictures with was out of juice and it was being very fussy about which cables it would charge with!

As its Tuesday its Beginners workshop in the Den. ^ weeks ago two ladies came to our first class, one of them had never stamped before the other had dabbled a bit. They have learnt so much in such a short space of time. Today we are starting with the aqua painter and the misting bottle. These are the three cards we are going to make...... would you call them beginners?

This first one uses colouring the block with marker pens misting then putting the block onto the card. The white card is Stampin'Up normal whisper white. Love the wetlands birds.

The second one is stamped first then a water wash with the aqua painter.  After stamping I have also used the aqua painter to colour the deer. and add more colour between the grasses For the plants I have coloured the stamps with the marker pens.

The third card uses the 'Lovely as a tree" which is a brilliant stamp set. For this one I inked the block with the ink pads then spritzed with water. I have used watercolour paper which does take a little longer to absurd all the water but doesn't wrinkle. I let the card dry for a while before stamping the trees.

And this is the table all set up and ready. Do you fancy having a new absorbing hobby. Pop down and see us in the Den. You will be surprised at what you can do.
