Having the stamp set means you can go on and make more cards in a similar style.
This is the simplest card. The ink and card base are the same colour. I have used Lost Lagoon. This card is cased from the catalogue. The silver ribbon, silver matting layer and the silver glimmer star just add a bit of bling. All these pieces will be cut and ready for you to stamp and put together. The second sentiment is stamped on the inside.
I am so pleased with this card it is also quite simple to make but so effective. I have stamped the image then repeated it without re inking. I have moved the repeat stamp to the left a little and up a fraction. The two sequins are the bling on this card as the very vanilla stamped panel is layered on to black then onto the not quite navy.
I had to do one distressed card. This is based on an idea from the catalogue but......
The image is stamped onto paper from the newsprint pack. This has been distressed and sponged around the edge. There will be a quarter of a sponge in the pack for you to have a go at this yourself with specific instructions on how to do. I have punched the black card with the confetti star punch (which can be bought separately if you wish) they this area layered onto crushed curry card. I have stamped the sentiment in crushed curry to balance the ensemble. A crushed curry candy dot attaches the two banners to the lower part of the card. I have also added the whole decorative layers at an angle. I know some people don't like that so you can do straight if you wish.
This third card is also black on navy. The image is stamped onto soft sky, I have stamped the image onto some scrap card then fussy cut each element. I had to do two extra stamped images to get all four complete. This has allowed me to attach some with dimensionals, making the group look bigger and increase the number of sheep. Using the marker to colour the back of one of the sheep has meant I can reverse the way the sheep is facing. The background is the same as the cards I posted on Monday, there will be full instructions on how to do this. This is a long thin card. Gold ribbon and glimmer star add the sparkle.
I think this is my favourite of the set. The stamp has been coloured with marker pens, using the chocolate chip for the kneeling shepherd and the crook, soft suade for the standing shepherd, sahara sand for the sheep and wild wasabi for the grass. I have then added by re colouring the stamp extra sheep and grass at each side of the figures. I love the gold stiped vellum for the matt layer. A small piece of gold foil has been used the layer the sentiment.
