In colour - Tip Top Taupe

I am a great fan of the neutrals and I loved this Tip Top Taupe when I first saw it but I haven't used it as much as I thought I would.
When I set out making this card I had planned on water colouring with pink but then I had a light bulb moment.
A couple of my Stampin'Up friends regularly spritz....... something I have never done. I chose to go with calypso coral rather than pink and what fun I had, not sure how long it will be before my fingers recover and I don't know exactly how much is on the carpet but it was fun!

The speckled effect is what the spritzing does, such a subtle effect - remember this is a first attempt and watch out as there will be more!

I have started with a Tip Top Taupe base card, then early expresso layer. The dahlia is stamped in Tip Top Taupe, my ink pad is very inky and it hasn't been used much and I do find it dries paler than it stamps.

To create the spritz, you need a small bottle with a spray top, mine was half full of water which is perhaps too much then I added 3 drops of re-inker and sprayed away! So easy. My problem now is to think about how many spritz bottles I really need filled and ready at once!
The ribbon on the card is calypso coral seam binding. The sentiment is from the Birthday Blooms stamp set.
