Dragonflies

Sorry about no blog yesterday. The day escaped me and before I knew it it was dark outside. I really can't tell you what I did with the day, I don't know!
This morning I have had a lovely crafty time - my preferred style of card, lots of overstamping, lots of daubing, no tearing or layers but I did enjoy this one and I hope you like it.

Instead of reaching for the white card I have done the stamping on a piece of designer paper. Not something I do often and you do have to be careful with the paper that you choose. The small dandelion seed heads are the print on the paper. First I daubed the three colours across the paper to give an impression of landscape then I  added the other foliage around the edge. If you are a Stampin'Up demonstrator I wonder if you can spot how many different stamp sets I have used...

Rather than add a sentiment to the front I have stamped birthday wishes on the inside, using the same layering colours.

On the dragon fly wings I have used glitter and  a wink of stella pen to add some sparkle plus a couple of the tiniest pearls for eyes. The dragonflies are raised on dimensionals.

Really pleased with this one, what do you think?
